The training and research objective is to articulate qualitative issues relating to the landscape and to prepare both comprehensive models and realisation. Challenges are found in the further development of historic gardens, urban parks and free spaces, sports facilities, industrial branches, and the agricultural sector.
In addition to theoretical and technical information blocks, intensive practical garden work and botany form important bases in the landscape design sector. International guest lectures and study trips provide insights into current developments.
Graduates are enabled to participate in the complex, technical, ecological, social and economic processes of the landscape and to make significant artistic contributions.
