Art, Science, Philosophy and Global Challenges.
Seit dem Wintersemester 2017 besteht am Institut für Kunst und
Gesellschaft das englischsprachige Bachelorstudium Cross-Disciplinary Strategies. Applied Studies in Art, Science, Philosophy
and Global Challenges. Der Master startet mit Wintersemester 2021.
Cross-Disciplinary Strategies (CDS) ermöglicht die
Bearbeitung aktueller gesellschaftlicher Herausforderungen in einem multidisziplinären Studienprogramm, das Herangehensweisen
und Methoden aus der Kunst, den Geisteswissenschaften, wie auch den Sozial- und Naturwissenschaften verbindet. Der Studiengang
reagiert damit auf die zunehmende Fragmentierung akademischer Disziplinen, um den Herausforderungen des 21. Jahrhunderts begegnen
zu können. Künstlerische Strategien stehen als verbindendes Element im Mittelpunkt des Studiums.
Qualifikationsprofil:- Abgeschlossenes interdisziplinäres Studium vorzugsweise in einem Themenfeld der Global Challenges
- Zusätzliche Ausbildung
in Wissenschafts- und Technikforschung, Ökonomie und Politik oder künstlerische Strategien und Zugänge zu Kunst
- Erfahrung
in der Abhaltung und Gestaltung cross-disziplinärer Lehre
- Nachgewiesene transdisziplinäre Projekterfahrung, Erfahrung
mit partizipativen Methoden
- Nachgewiesene Koordinationserfahrung im universitären oder NGO Bereich
- Wille zum
fächerübergreifenden Gespräch und Teamfähigkeit
- Erfahrung mit externer und interner Kommunikation
- Wissenschaftlich/künstlerische
Publikationen
- Unterrichtssprache ist Englisch
Aufgabenbereich:- Betreuung der Studierenden
bei der Planung und Umsetzung von cross-disziplinären Arbeiten und Projekten.
- Wahrnehmung von und Mitwirkung bei Lehraufgaben
in den Bereichen der Global Challenges, cross-disziplinäre Methodenlehre
- Koordinierungs- und Organisationstätigkeiten
- Wahrnehmung von Publikations- und Kommunikationsaufgaben
- Mitwirkung bei der Entwicklung und Abhaltung der Lehre
- Forschungstätigkeit unter Berücksichtigung gesellschaftspolitischer Dimensionen
- Drittmittel-Akquise

für diese Verwendung beträgt laut Kollektivvertrag derzeit € 2.971,50 brutto monatlich (14x jährlich) und kann sich eventuell
auf Basis der kollektivvertraglichen Vorschriften durch die Anrechnung tätigkeitsspezifischer Vorerfahrungen erhöhen.

a Senior Scientist (m/f/d, 40 hrs per week, temporary for 3 years) for Cross-Disciplinary
Strategies – Applied Studies in Art, Science, Philosophy and Global Challenges, to start in September 2021.
The
English language bachelor’s programme Cross-Disciplinary Strategies. Applied Studies in Art, Science, Philosophy and Global
Challenges has been offered at the Institute for Art and Society since the winter semester 2017. The Master’s programme is
to start in the winter semester 2021.
Cross-Disciplinary Strategies (CDS) provides the opportunity to work on current
societal challenges in a multidisciplinary degree programme, linking the approaches and methodologies of art, the humanities
and social and natural sciences. In this sense, the programme is a reaction to the increasing fragmentation of academic disciplines,
aiming to face up to 21st century challenges. Artistic strategies are at the centre of the programme as a unifying element.
Qualification profile:- Graduate of an interdisciplinary degree programme, preferably in a
thematic field of the Global Challenges
- Additional qualifications in science and technology research, economics and
politics, or artistic strategies and approaches to art
- Experience in planning and teaching cross-disciplinary content
- Evidence of transdisciplinary project experience, experience with participative methods
- Evidence of experience
in coordination work in the university or NGO field
- Ability to hold cross-disciplinary conversations, team spirit
- Experience of external and internal communication
- Published work in the academic/artistic field
- The programme
language is English
Scope of duties:- Supervising students in planning and implementing
cross-disciplinary tasks and projects
- Carrying out and collaborating in teaching tasks in the areas of Global Challenges,
cross-disciplinary methods training
- Coordination and organisational activities
- Carrying out publication and
communication tasks
- Collaborating in developing teaching content and teaching
- Research activity, taking socio-political
dimensions into account
- Acquisition of third-party funding
