International cartoon contest “Prix Charlie”

Due date: 15. March 2021
For the second year, the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in association with Estienne Paris School of Arts launches the international cartoon contest “Prix Charlie” and gives you the opportunity to treat (or mistreat!) the following topic: “Trouver l’amour de sa vie avec le COVID” (finding the love of your life during the COVID pandemic).

Young people from 18 to 25, students, employed or not, French or internationals from everywhere, are very welcome to participate. To do so, they will need to send out their drawings – as many as they want – before March 15, either through the link http://www.pressecitron.org/concours.html or to the email address prixcharlie@charliehebdo.com or they can mail it directly to Estienne Paris School of Arts’ postal address: Ecole Estienne / Trophée Presse Citron {BnF, Catégorie Prix Charlie,18 boulevard Auguste Blanqui 75013 Paris.

We call for your talents, as a young amateur or expert, to raise your voice for the freedom of expression’s sake.

NB: Please attach with your drawings: name, first name, date of birth, activity or school and class, email address and mobile phone number + mention "Prix Charlie". Any application that does not meet the aforementioned submission or format conditions will not be taken into account by the competition.

The winner will be elected by the Charlie Hebdo cartoonists team and the official announcement will be on March 26. The prize winner will see its drawing published by the magazine, both in its printed edition and on the dedicated website www.pressecitron.org. He will also receive the trophy together with a pack of art related prizes.
