INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL 2021 REMOTE
Tangible Cultural Heritage
– Intangible Cultural Heritage – Conservation
Organized by the Institute of Conservation
The International Summer Schools of the Institute of Conservation are already established events aiming at capacity
building and exchange in the field of cultural heritage conservation.
This year’s Summer School Remote explores intersections
and interactions of tangible and intangible cultural heritage with emphasis on (practical) implications of the intangible
on conservation-restoration and synergies in the preservation of both.
It builds bridges between
the tangible and intangible, between continents and time zones, between perspectives towards the preservation of our cultural
heritage.
International lecturers from the China, Mongolia, Nepal, India, Thailand and Austria present case studies and
projects in the two-day online event.
