Funded by the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation, an academic exchange program was established to finance scholarships and fellowships for academic exchange between Austria and the U.S. The program is focused only on research in the field of technical sciences.

Under the theme "Becoming human in times of post-humanism", positions will be gathered at the Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts. The symposium will take place in cooperation with the Taipei National University of the Arts from June 21–22, 2024. We invite you to take the opportunity to participate in this international project of Angewandte in Taipei.

This open call aims at opening up the academic as well as industry-related research at acib to a dialogue with artists and to push the boundaries of the inter- and transdisciplinary discourse in the field.

The Angewandte is co-organizer of the conference “Culture and Art in the Context of the Russian-Ukrainian War: Artistic Strategies, Discursive Practices, Vectors of Comprehension” organized by the Modern Art Research Institute of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine (Kyiv), which from 29.-30. May take place hybrid. Artists and researchers at Angewandte are invited to submit contributions to the conference on the following topics:
