The alumna of the Angewandte (Department of Transdisciplinary Arts) accepted the award on 27 November. At the centre of the award-winning work On Another Note are the hands of Takriti’s mother, flipping through photographs and unfolding textile pieces — some of which had been deliberately left unfinished by the grandmother so that subsequent generations could continue them after her death.
