Tânia Raposo: Foraging, a Talk on Books and Research

Tânia Raposo is a designer, educator and researcher. Currently living in France working on a PhD with the University of Paris VIII in collaboration with the Atelier national de recherche typographique (ANRT), and teaching typography at ENSAD Nancy. She is also part of the research project Reception of the New Typography in the French-speaking graphic scenes: rejections, adoptions, renegotiations (1925–1979) which is supported by ANR and SNSF and led jointly by Paris 8 University (UR AIAC) and ECAL/HES-SO.
Previously, she worked as the Educational Program Coordinator and curatorial assistant at Letterform Archive, as a graphic designer at the studios Atlas, itemzero and art director at the type foundry Feliciano Type. She has taught at the California College of the Arts, San Francisco City College, Type@Cooper West, HBKSaar and the Type and Media Master at the KABK.
