Welcome of First Year Students
The Winter Term 2026/27 starts for all First Year Students
on October 1, 2026, at 10:00 am, in the Auditorium of Angewandte.
All first year students will
be welcomed by Angewandte by the Rectorate and the hufak (students union) and introduced to basic information about your study
by Angewandte’s team.
There will be guided tours through the university, you will explore the workshops and the
Library, meet the team of the International Office, find the important Office of Student affairs, arrive at the office of
hufak, and find many other important anchor points of Angewandte. Of course, you will also get an informative overview if
you are not joining the walks.
After the program there will a possibility to meet fellow students, also people
from Angewandte over a snack in the courtyard of the Main Building at Oskar-Kokoschka-Platz 2.
