Studio
Space Popular (Architekturentwurf 2) invites you to a screening of student final projects, presented as Spatial Essays (short
films), developed during the winter semester under the theme WORLDCRAFT.
The winter semester revolved
around the dimension of architecture that determines how spaces are sensed, valued, and given meaning: aesthetics. Students
examined the problematic legacy of the style catalogue -from 19th-century pattern books to contemporary asset libraries- and
developed their own systems for world-building. Using game engines, they assembled these into Transmedia stage sets for hybrid
forms of performance and spectatorship.
The screening will take place on January 29th,
from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in Gartenbaukino (Parkring 12) and is free of charge. We have plenty of seats so bring your friends!
