NOVOart ist ein österreichweit tätiger, nicht gewinnorientierter Kunst- und Kulturverein. NOVOart hat zum Ziel, Ausstellungen und andere kulturelle Veranstaltungen abzuhalten sowie künstlerische und kulturelle Aktivitäten zu fördern. 2025 möchten wir Studierende an österreichischen Kunstuniversitäten und -hochschulen einladen, eine Fassade einer Wohnhausanlage der BWS-Gruppe zu gestalten, die zu den größten gemeinnützigen Wohnbaugenossenschaften Österreichs gehört.

To mark its 20th anniversary in Cyprus, the Austrian Embassy in Nicosia launches an open call for a project-based artist residency. In collaboration with CYENS WIP Lab and the Cypriot Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the residency invites proposals for a public installation in central Nicosia. Selected artists will realize their work in the lively setting of Town Hall Square.

To promote innovative, conceptual, and research-based projects, the BMKÖS will once again award the Hans Hollein Project Grant in the field of architecture in 2025. We are looking for experimental approaches that stand out for their originality and artistic depth – ideally in the spirit of Hans Hollein or in dialogue with his work. International collaborations, research phases, and references to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are expressly welcome.

The MAK invites students and emerging artists living and working in Serbia, Romania, and Austria to apply for participation in an international Winter Atelier on artists’ books with designer Sven Völker. The Atelier will be held as part of the EU project AbeX – Anthologies of Cooperation: Encounters in/through Artists’ Books and Experimental Poetry and will take place within the framework of the exhibition TURNING PAGES: Artists’ Books of the Present.
