:: KAIROS. Recall of Earth addresses the relationship between humans and natural events. The term kairos relates to natural phenomena on the one hand and to temporality on the other – kairos is the modern Greek word for "weather", but it also means "the right moment". The ambiguity inherent in this word runs like a golden thread through the exhibition. Starting out with meteorological aspects regarding the “weather”, the exhibition also tries to draw a picture of the psyche and its entanglement with natural phenomena. The boundaries between different levels of perception dissolve; the influence of the outside world becomes tangible and visible; the illusion of being able to control perceptions falls victim to deception itself.
